Have you read “Jumping Ship” by Micheal and Debi Pearl? I am previewing/skimming it right now, and very pleased with what I am finding: good, practical, Biblical parenting.

I have not read the book. I think it is a compilation of articles that he ran in No Greater Joy. I did read them.
I was impressed with the articles. They mirrored much that I have seen in churches with which I associate.
It is my prayer that I not make the same mistake.
I trust that, since I’m 37 and in the last couple of years adopted two siblings who are 2 and almost 4, that I will have more wisdom and do better than I would have done if I were younger.
Even preachers (perhaps ESPECIALLY preachers) need much grace in training children.
God bless,
Jason
