I guess there’s only one way that I can commit to it and stick to that commitment: post saying that I’m going to do it.

It is my belief that the Bible is a coherent whole in that the sixty-six books have a thematic and theological unity.  With this in mind, I shall attempt to blog through each book of the Bible this year.

My goal is not to give a synopsis of the books, nor to expound upon them.  Instead I simply intend to present some of the underlying themes and show how they relate to, and build upon, the themes that have already been established in the Scripture.

I intend to write one post per book.

Now, I have committed myself.  Look for the first post this week.

Looking forward to this! May God bless you in this endeavor! Hopefully it will teach you more of the Bible to then teach others, and hopefully those of us following online will be challenged by the discussion and read our Bibles with greater passion and interest.
