These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1Jn 5:13) KJV
So many people think of God’s Word as a rule book, or instruction manual for life.
In reality, the Bible is given to us that we might know and glorify God.
For this reason, the Scriptures actually give us much encouragement and assurance.
You see, rule books don’t encourage. They only show one what is right, and troubleshoots what is wrong.
God’s Word does differently.
God’s Word helps us to know and be assured that we are received and loved by God.
Let us embrace God’s Word by faith.
