Southern Gospel CDs and Digital Downloads
We all know that Southern Gospel artists and record companies are very slowly getting onto the digital train.
I’ll not even ask “why?”
What I do wonder about is why those who are don’t offer something similar to the following:
Digital downloads immediately upon release of the CD, a physical CD sent in the mail, and a special that would sell the two for $20-25.
I’m thinking that there would be quite a few who would like to have the digital files. After all, it saves the time of ripping the CD. One can also get them quicker than they get the CD in the mail when ordering online. Many of these same folks would still enjoy having the CD.
My experience is limited. Perhaps there are some who are doing this.
It seems counter-intuitive to not do it.
