Alleged Biblical Inconsistencies Continued
Infidels.org lists the following as an inconsistency.
GE 2:15-17, 3:4-6 It is wrong to want to be able to tell good from evil.
HE 5:13-14 It is immature to be unable to tell good from evil.
Honestly, this both easy and tedious.
Why?
It is easy because the issue at hand is well understood by someone who knows just a little bit about the Bible. It was not a sin to be able to tell good from evil. The sin was disobeying God’s command about partaking of the tree. It was si to seek to be on the same level as God.
It is tedious because the skeptic approaches the Bible with a jaundiced eye and seeks to find a problem. He then carelessly throws out something and proclaims that there is a problem when there is none present.
Dear reader, be assured of the historical veracity of the Bible, the existence of God, the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the reality of coming judgment.
Be assured that God will receive all who repent and trust Jesus.
